What is your name and where are you from?
My name is Alex. I’m originally from Chicago.
If you could put your experience in Rosario into just a few words, how would you sum it up?
An exceedingly comfortable and often outrageously fun space for me to practice and improve my Spanish.
What expectations did you have of Rosario before you arrived, and how did it let you down or exceed those expectations?
My experience was so much better than I could have even imagined. First, I didn’t expect to like Rosario so much: The riverfront, the people, especially the general vibe. But then the school! I loved spending time with and getting everyone!
How long did you stay? Did you extend your trip? Did you cut it short? Why?
I stayed two weeks, but I wish I could have stayed for another month, or more even!
What was your favorite part? What would you have changed?
I was so impressed with just how good the instructors were. The classes were small, so we had plenty of time to practice speaking in a safe environment, though I wish I would have spent more time on my homework.
What words of wisdom do you have for future students?
Stay a while! Rosario has very few English-speaking tourists, so you have an amazing opportunity to be completely immersed in the Spanish language, Argentina, and Argentine culture. The city is surprisingly livable.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
After two weeks, I felt like I needed another 4-6 weeks to really jump it up a level.
